Maid in heaven!😊🌼

After a little research I found that a maid is someone who is Integral part of Indian household. And I just thought of writing a blog for the ever working maids in India!! If you find the right maid for you your life is definitely sorted😝 

What do you look for in your life partner the same things goes for all househelp too!🤣

1) compatibility ( If your maid is compatible with you she will understand when and what to do..)

2) loyalty ( so they don't leave your house for some other house)

3) understanding. ( You have to check each other moods and allot work accordingly)😝

See so you need to search all these qualities in your maid before you know she is the one!😝

It is no spelling mistake instead a maid is definitely not less than a angel for working ladies out there . That is why they make your life like heaven...Maid / househelp any name you can give them but the work they do is so important that it keeps the women of the house mentally sane.

If husband doesn't come on time it scares less than when the maid is not on time. More than anybody the eyes of the lady is searching for the maid more than her counterpart 😝.

The different kinds of maid..

1) the social kind-

she will keep talking to you all the time while working ..she is is the one who has million of stories to tell and that too non stop. She will ask about you and your day..will tell about hers . Will know every detail about every household she works in.. and will also gossip about them even if you are not interested at all. 

2) the no nonsense maid...

These types of maid are the one's who are highly professional. They will ask you once about the work and will silently come and work .You cannot ask them for extra work....they will do only that work which they are supposed to. No less no more! These are my kind of maids but hard to find! 

3) The victim maid...

These are the one's who are either facing abuses from their husband or they have a lot of issues in their lives. They work to be away from their daily lives and earn a little for their survival.. . because their lives at home are quite sad and unhappening . Unfortunately In India you will find mostly these kind of maids.

4) The taka jhakhi maid..

She will look into everything . Actual taka jhakhi ...she will look into every new thing you brought..every new colddrink that you have in your fridge. Every new masala that you are using and also the the bedsheet that you changed. She knows it all ....

 sometimes I used to tell her before she could do her taaka jhakhi..

5 ) Mujhe jaldi Jana hai types.

There will be one maid who will just be so fast that you will doubt your own capabilities to work.She comes completes her work in exact time and goes! She is the multitasker and a pro at a lot of manual work. She will not bother what you are doing she will just come on a horse and leave in a bullet train!

6) The permanent maid..

If the relationship with your maid blooms it might happen that she works for you for straight 20 years . It's like you both grow old together. Your maid knows your kids ; their tantrums :your guest; your relatives ; your job ; your boss everything. She knows when not to take a holiday and you know when she will be visiting her village! Its like you can sense when the mood is off and vice a versa.

7) Diwali pe kya gift hai??

Now the maids are very excited and geared to work during festivals . As they know they will have to work more and in return they will get a very good gift... So there is another set of maids who already place their demands. Some want new saree some new utensils some a table a chair and what not 🤣 

Whether you fulfill your child's demand or not as a good employee you fulfill their demands! And make festivals more joyous for them and you simultaneously...🌞

In our country the role of a maid is indispensable!They directly share the work load of house. Which is invaluable.When guest arrive they act as host ; they will be available when you need them.....

Movies and advertisement have stereo typed them too. The " kanta bai" "the Laxmi bai"....Few days back a old lady walked into my home and asked me about my mother and guessed my nickname! And she just stood there in awe ..she was not able to accept that I had grown so tall..🤣😝 She was old filled with wrinkles ...but I could recall the times she used to work at my home....She saw my parents struggle going for work and raising children simultaneously! !My mother was elated to see her...and asked about her family... It was kind of reunion.. of a very very old relationship.

That old maid of ours reminds me of how can professional relationship of work can turn into such a close bond!! Unsaid for years!! But understood by both the parties!!
