The Library mates!

The receptionist says why don't you look around and select your seat . We have still 4 of them available. I said alright! And entered  the pin drop silence room. It was soo quiet!!
I opened the door and made noise.
I took a chair and made noise.
I kept my bag and made noise.
I sat down and made noise.

While all the people in the library kept staring at me!πŸ™ˆI just made myself comfortable. And the silence made me lost in my own books. This was very new for me as I was used to read at my own home my own comfort space! But it was a good change too.

Since it was a 24*7 library. There were few students who used to study the whole night. Now I love my good night sleep.. being more of a morning person. My timing was around 6 in the morning till 7 pm in the evening. Every morning I would enter the library. The guy sleeping next to my seat would wake up abruptly. And said "Sorry " everytime..

It's time to introduce Aaditya ( the guy sleeping next to my seat). Now he is the Haryanvi guy ; the ambitious lad; the night person who studied whole night. And preparing for Neet ( the doctors entrance exam).

Being younger to me and similar looking to my real brother. I was also away from my native state preparing for my future and even Aaditya doing the same.

Because we both had lunch at the same time and our daaba wala also arrived at the same time. It happened coincidentally that we started having lunch together.

I remember the first question I asked him

"Tum rat bhar kaise pdh lete ho" !! Just how??
He just smiled and said
" Jaise ap din me pdh leti ho"πŸ™ˆ
((In his haryanvi accent)πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

We used to discuss his subjects of neet and even my subjects. Used to measure the paani in our daal and how the sabzi is so oily. And how we both are gaining weight by eating this dabbe ka khana..He used to miss his family and called me didi.. and shared his bad marks in test and how he had to meet his father's expectations.

Whenever his mom visited his flat and cooked something special. He used to pack and bring it for me in a tiffin box.Ahh home food was definitely  what I craved for . We both shared the love for non vegetarian food which led us to taste the shwarma rolls and shami kebabs. Pure bliss.

He always accompanied me to the hostel gate if if I left after 11 pm on somedays. And even on those days when his exams were going on.

The day I decided to leave the library and study at my flat.. We both were a little sad! But we shared a unsaid bond of a brother and sister. Away from our native places and sharing almost everything without any judgements. He used to study whole night and me being a day person hardly met.. it was only the lunch that started our conversation!

And now little Aaditya is doing great in a medical College!! And I know he will be a great doctor and definitely an asset to the medical field!πŸ™‚

So some unexpected meetings can last long and can be very comforting in a unknown place.Life is all about the people you meet ; learn from them; and just share a unspoken bond!πŸ™‚πŸ™‚
