A trip to Halali dam..πŸ’œπŸ’œ

It is very hard to convince people to get them ready for a small trip even if it is on a weekend..
But the unplanned trips are always fun.🀩🀩
The trio of me Aayush and Deepti set for a destination near Bhopal without any expectations .In the hopes of seeing a waterfall.
We shortlisted two places
1) Amargarh
2) Halali dam
And to our favour ..it rained heavily a day before our trip..
On a short conference call we three decided Amargarh would be way too adventurous for us..so taking a safer option and Halali dam recieved full consent.

Now I never knew that Deepti could be so adventurous in the morning so that she won't get ready and would sleep for an hour extra.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Me being the punctual one reached on time as always and called Aayush to give me company till Deepti comes.

Anyways we still managed to start our trip on time at around 8.30 and we three with Deepti ka 70'000 phone set our Google map for this dam.
The people whom we asked during the journey looked at us like why are they hereπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
And little did we know that this is going to be a full on Village drive ... literally on a one way road.
Where there was no car except ours...,πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

We just kept on going...I rechecked the map with my phone and eventually reached in scorching heat .....The driving skills of Aayush were being tested to fullest while crossing narrow lanes sharp turns and literally no road lanes...πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
After we entered the retreat..
The cooler came to our rescue but the scorching heat was was still too much..after sightings of few birds and uncle and aunties playing like little children inside the retreat.. we decided we have to go see the waterfall otherwise coming this far would be a waste of time..
It was around a kilometre away from the retreat and we started walking... We went down the road and started hearing the sound of gushing waters of the waterfall..

Aayush being the fittest one among us and had a experience of trekking started climbing the rocks..Me being excited and Deepti being a little nervous about how to go about..started our little trek..

Mujhse nhi hoga...pair nhi hil rha Mera were the sentences repeated by deepti multiple times..πŸ˜‚
Aayush being Are chal na ...hath pakad k aja bsπŸ˜‚
To my awe we reached the waterfall within 20 minutes of our trek and it was beautiful.
The water was a little less as it wasn't rainy season but the water was clear the sun was bright .. absolutely no people around ..
The soothing sound of water and we three .

Deepti started making videos and Aayush being the adventure lover climbed the rocks above.
We clicked some pictures..and copied each other poses and some few pro trekkers started bathing in the water .
They balanced themselves on slippery rocks and took pictures from DSLRs..
And we were like Kaise kr rhe ye logπŸ˜‚

Now comes the main fun part of the trek ...that is returning back to the retreat..we almost Crossed half the way and there comes a small river...I became so over confident that I would hold grip even on the slippery Rock and will cross the river inspite of not wearing shoes and there being an alternative route.
And I fell in the riverπŸ˜‚
Covered with green moss all over my pants and my top too! Smelling like rotten plantsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Guess what Deepti and Aayush laughing like anything instead of helping me to stand ! See that is what friends do rights πŸ˜‚Deepti was like let me cross the rocks then I will help you dude😝And Aayush being the humourous one too made fun of me as usualπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Then I stood myself and crossed the river..and cleaned myself with a handkerchief still smelling like ewwπŸ˜‚
It was still better that I did not get any serious injury ..and we continued our trek.

And this incident became the limelight of the whole trip..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚these people couldn't stop laughing! I am like still smelling like green rotten plants.. in the hopes that these people would stop making fun of me!

But No...😬
They had the opportunity and did not miss it at all..😜

We did not need any music while our way back to home as my falling in the river made the trip unforgettable..πŸ˜‚
We discussed for a full hour..Deepti had laughter attacks in the back seat of the car and we just chit chatted the whole time.
It started raining too!!

This time we chose a better route..
And had our lunch and reached home by 3.30 in the afternoon..

The USP of the trip
1) ofcourse my great fall in the river
2) the tanning in scorching heat
3) the endless conversation during the road trip
4) the scenic view of waterfall
5) the Village drive
6) the misleading Google map
7) and three excited people who would ho anywhere just to be outside their homes..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

So anyways a day well spent made this trip to Halali way more special and a one to be remembered and written a blog about.πŸ˜‚
