What it feels like when you have a overachiever sister!😜😜😜

I am younger to a brilliant overachiever sister. I literally mean overachiever in a sense that:

1) the one who tops in every class.

2) the one who writes professional poetry and prizes almost daily by publishing them in magazines.

3) every teacher's favourite and you are compared to her everytime you reach the class she was in!

4) parents favourite first child who was always good at everything!

5) the one who clears a competitive examination in her first year college .And gets to become an officer too early in her life .

6) the one who goes to office and completes graduation simultaneously .And tops the state university and gets awarded by the mayor.

7) when she left school; teachers are more concerned about her than you!

8) the social butterfly of your school who makes friends within seconds aΓ±d people expect you to be the same as her as we are sisters.

9) on parents teacher meet whenever she used to accompany me! The class teacher would completely forget about my result and would chat with her for a long time !

9)the one who gets the main role in school play and gets applauded by the Governor of the state! Like seriously!!! It is so unbelievable right!

But all of it is true! And guess what sharing your life with such an overachiever can be hard and very very hard!!!🀐🀐🀐🀐 Whether your parents say it or not but they want you to be like her.😬😬

I being a rebel ; a not so perfect child; it took some while for me to make my own identity. But the best part my sister was always supporting me to be my own person. She lets me be the IMPERFECT ME. She even backed me against my own parents . like every other sister bullying was her favourite pastime! I still remember she used to make me do her work so that I can sit on my favourite side of the sofa! When she used to study the whole night she used to wake me up and tell me you are late to school ! Run god damn it! And after I brushed my teeth at 3.Am she used to burst out laughing for straight 5 minutes! We used to fight like cats and dogs! Punching each other badly! But she was always the ideal one in every sense!

I was only better at one thing that was I was not a fat kid like her! So once I got the opportunity to do the anchoring at school annual function! It was one of the biggest opportunity to stand alone on the stage and represent the school .But guess what the senior most teacher after my part and said- hey I wanted to say this for so long but I couldn't. I wanted to apologize to your sister for not giving her a chance to do the anchoring when she was of your age! She was completely deserving and the best we had! But we wanted a thin dainty girl who would look good in a Cinderella gown! This was what our principal expected so I couldn't give the opportunity. Say her sorry on my behalf.

I was awestruck and senior strict teacher who used to hate you now starts apologizing for a 4 year back incident! The guilt was right in her face! But I kinda felt good that atleast being a thin gave me an advantage over her! But her overachievement was way too much to handle!

So it is what it is!πŸ€—πŸ€—

Living with a overachiever can be beneficial as you become famous for no particular reason. And worst because you are expected to be as good as her .You loose your own identity in the shadow of the overachiever! πŸ™„πŸ™„

The most important part of this relationship is that overachiever is your rescuer and your constant support! 🀩🀩Your constant cheer leader  .the one who is always more responsible. And all the experiment new parents make are made on the first child so you are definitely lucky being younger .

Am I right? Comment down below if you have such overachievers in your life but you still love being the imperfect one!

  3. It's good ki your Di was supportive and you had sense enough to appreciate the support and not lash out at her for being herself

It's nice the relationship you two share.

And I must say, you're quite an achiever yourself. Maine you should give her credit, if not for that tagda competition and motivation

Now I know, teri yeh ekdum mast wali motivation kahan se aati h
