Traveling solo is a mission!!🙃

 Now after quite a few trips in trains of India I realised being a solo girl traveller in trains attracts a lot of attention from your co travellers.

It is so funny that people ask you multiple time are you seriously traveling alone! I remember once the TC offered me to change my seat to upper birth from lower one as he came to know that I am traveling alone!

I still remember my first solo travel in AC 2 compartment. I was very excited for my first overnight trip in train😄😄. I was more happy because there was no one in my compartment at the beginning!

BUT suddenly two policemen sat in front of me and asked me madam would you like some other seat than this! We can arrange it for you! Me being me did not ask the reason and outrightly rejected the offer as the charging point was closer to my seat! 😅😅

Then came the real surprise cum nightmare...these policemen went back to the door of the compartment and accompanied a dark medium heighted big beard fellow who was chained both at his hands and feet. Though he was not in those black and white  striped  clothes as Bollywood movies show but he definitely reminded me of Sanjay dutt in khalnayak.🤐🤐🤐 And in background the song Nayak nhi khalnayak hun Mai was playing in my head!

Again the policemen asked me madam are you still sure! But me being me to put up a strong and confident self in front of the criminal.I said- of course no problem!

Inside me ! Thought which popped up 

1) can he do something to me!??

2) I still have my discharged phone I will charge it soon and get going when this man sleeps

3) How do they left a criminal to travel in ac2 compartment! Such luxury ! It's better to do a crime and travel with four policemen like bodyguards!

4) why do you do this to yourself eveytime!

5) is he going to stare at me all night long! Yuck!! Wtf!!

6 ) why can't the police men inform me from before hand the reason behind the offer! Ohh no!

7 ) Why my first solo travel has to be this adventurous!

While these thoughts floated within 3 seconds they started unlocking his chains to tie him up to the upper berth! Whenever he moved the chains started to make  a cranking sound! 

Then the two policemen sat in front of me asked the same question are you alone! I said yes and that criminal gave a sarcastic smile from the berth above!  I could feel it! 

Me being a inquisitive personality straight away asked them what has he done? He has murdered a person in Mumbai and he has been absconding to different states and murdering people! After a lot of search we caught and are accompanying him to tihar jail.!My words that came out were Ohhhh! Acha Acha!!

But inside me my soul was leaving my body out of bloody fear! I thought I would be an easy target for him but thank god 4 policemen also in the same block as me! That man on upper Berth was very silent listening to all this! Looking at my reactions and therefore I acted like I don't care dude! But I could sense his grim smile! And a weird aura that surrounded because he was making noises from those chains.

So finally it was time to sleep, the policemen had a big gun and he kept it aside while sleeping! And that man also slept and before sleeping he made a request to me can you please draw the curtains! Not to lie his voice was as deep as Kumar Sanu!  But I was fear stricken and I closed his part of curtains and opened my side of curtains to feel a little safer! All the light kept entering my compartment! I felt a little relief! 

It was 1am I couldn't sleep ! The chain noise! And the feeling of sleeping in the same compartment with a double murderer made me supremely anxious! I called one of my friend and thankfully she picked up and told her the entire thing. I felt a lot better ! And eventually I played my favourite playlist and when did I sleep I do not know,!

Finally everything went well! And in the morning when I started collecting my luggage The policemen asked me why I was traveling and what do I do! I answered them and told them this was the first time I was traveling! He laughed at that! 

I hope you had fun travelling with our bhaijaan!( The convict) .I looked at the criminal eye to eye and and said I hope he had fun travelling in AC 2 compartment after being locked in chains! As everyone does not get that chance right!🔥🔥🔥His face turned pale and his smile vanished right away!

As soon I said this I took my luggage and left as my station had arrived! My father standing at the station waved at me with a big smile!and asked how was the travel dear? 

I said Dad you won't even believe it! It's a long story!Will tell you at home! He smiled and said MERI Bahadur bachii!!Let's go your mother is waiting!

It was a unforgettable experience for me! And I still remember that sarcastic smile of that murderer! This encounter made me brave enough to travel in Indian trains in any compartment! Meeting different people ! And dealing with everything at ease!

Now I look back at realise it was my fear that made me uncomfortable and and my first solo travel was definitely a mission! But a very interesting one!
